Mess Ledger

What's new in Mess Ledger

Every release since Mess Ledger launched in August 2026, newest first. Each entry is something you can use today; nothing is listed before it ships.

Pricing, glossary, FAQ, press and release notes pages

New pages that state the plain facts: what Mess Ledger costs (nothing), what the words used in a mess mean, what has changed and when, and the brand facts for anyone writing about it. A questions-and-answers section with more than 500 answers in Bangla and English, from the meal rate to finding a seat. Five new comparison guides: the best mess management apps in Bangladesh, Splitwise or a mess app, MessBook or Mess Manager, splitting a mess's rent and bills, and tracking a hostel's monthly costs.

Meal cutoff, bKash and Nagad payments, bazar list, receipt photos, weekly menu

Meal cutoff: a manager can set a deadline, such as 10 pm the night before, after which members can no longer change that day's meals. Managers can still correct them.

Payment reports: a member who paid by bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank reports the amount and TrxID; it counts in the accounts once a manager approves it, and the same TrxID cannot be reported twice in one mess.

A shared bazar list the shopper ticks off at the market, which then fills in the bazar entry. Up to three receipt photos on each bazar entry, visible to every member. A weekly menu by breakfast, lunch and dinner, with today's dishes on the home screen.

Also: guides in Bangla and English on calculating the meal rate, month-end settlement, running a mess and splitting bills, and fixes to the phone layout and to settling months with members who left or rejoined.
